Laura has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Human Geography from Radboud University Nijmegen. After obtaining her Master’s degree, she joined the Young Expert Programme (YEP) and moved to Nairobi, Kenya. Since 2022 she works as a Consultant Business Development for Fair & Sustainable Kenya. The core focus of Laura’s work is developing and enhancing the Fair & Sustainable Insect Farms franchise, an initiative that supports young Kenyan entrepreneurs to establish their own commercial Black Soldier Fly farm.
