Oscar has over 10 years’ experience in the development context, of which 9.5 years were spent in Ethiopia. He is currently based in the Netherlands. He has implemented projects at grassroots level, advised development organizations, and managed development projects. He has worked on market systems development projects and agricultural value chains, provided business development support to SMEs, and worked on access to finance for smallholder farmers and enterprises. In recent years, he managed a resilience building project, coordinated studies on value chains and access to finance, evaluated development projects, advised on program design, and trained and coached development practitioners on the MSD approach.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, with a specialization in Small Business & Entrepreneurship.
